Q: Will it keep up with our line rate? Yes - we've run a full 50-second pick-to-weld cycle in production, and in-motion scanning (MotionCam-3D Color) keeps vision moving for sub-4-second part cadences.
Q: Our parts are shiny and reflective. Can it see them? Yes. Latest-generation PhoXi 3D Scanner Gen3 optics return clean, complete point clouds on the shiniest stamped aluminum and mirror-finish steel - the surfaces that defeat ordinary vision.
Q: Our bins are beat up and out of spec. Does that break it? No. The system detects and measures the real bin and adapts its collision models to where it actually is. About 85% of bins in the field are out of spec; this is exactly what we're engineered for.
