The S version of the camera with blue laser delivers maximum precision and power for small scenes where capturing the highest possible level of accuracy is essential. It excels on moving parts that are highly reflective or very dark – think chrome trim, black tire sidewalls, or shiny plastic packaging. Combined with 8 MP color texture, it provides AI with both geometry and rich RGB data. Applications include dynamic sorting of shiny consumer goods, in-motion inspection of dark or shiny materials, and picking parts with reflective surfaces.
